I just wanted to pop on and share what I made for the July One Little Word prompt in my Unraveling journal.
Honestly, this journal is becoming more of a OLW journal than anything else.
For OLW, Felicitas challenged us to document the “small wins” we experienced while on this OLW journey. She also encouraged us to get a bit messy and create some art papers to jot down our small wins.
Not going to lie, I found it exceptionally challenging to come up with a list of small wins. I’ve been so entirely focused on everything that has gone wrong or “not according to plan” that any figment of gratitude has been overshadowed by disappointment, sadness, and grief.
But I do have small wins. In fact, I have some big wins too. I just had to force myself to focus on what went right in all the wrong to see them.
Honestly, as I type this out, I’m thinking of some other small wins I forgot to add. I’m hoping to continue this practice of gratitude. Honestly, nothing is too small to celebrate, especially during times when everything seems to be going all wrong, and I have to remember that.
